Agent Dinesh Khadka, who was arrested on the charge of his involvement in online gambling through IxBet, has been found using citizenship certificate of some other persons without their consent.
Police said that in course of investigation Khadka was found making transactions of more than Rs 310 million through 1xBet.
Khadka had opened 42 bank accounts using citizenship certificate of some persons without their consent and deposited Rs 313 million illegally. He had also transferred the amount to other bank accounts by misusing digital device, according to Spokesperson at the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office and Superintendent of Police Rabindra Regmi.
Khadka has been sent to Teku-based District Police Range for necessary action after two victims filed FIR against Khadka at the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office, added Regmi.
