The two men who died when the road was washed away near the dam at Aanbukhaireni Gaonpalika-4 Sakhar of Tanahu on Friday morning have been identified.
The body was kept at Damauli Hospital after the incident and was identified by the relatives of the deceased. The deceased have been identified as Keshav Ghimire, 35, of Siranchowk Gaonpalika-5, Gorkha district and Hem Bahadur Bhujel, 33, of Hetauda Municipality-7, Makwanpur district.
A team of divers from Pokhara and Chitwan is intensifying the search operation in the river after the bodies of two men were found on the bank of the marshy river. A technical team of the Road Division Office is working to widen the flooded road. As large vehicles are not allowed to pass, small vehicles are stopped and send the other way, said Inspector Nepal.
