22 kilograms, 150 grams of cannabis has been recovered from Belauri Municipality of Kanchanpur on Saturday night. Spokesperson of the District Police Office, Kanchanpur, Deputy Superintendent of Police Chakra Bahadur Shah said that the drug was recovered from Buttabari of Belauri along with a motorcycle (UP 31 2256) with Indian number plate.
Spokesperson Shah said that the police team of Area Police Office Belauri found the cannabis on a motorcycle. Lately, the police have been arresting youths from the southern region of Kanchanpur on a daily basis with the drug brown sugar.
