Three children have died in a fire at Jhakritol of Sursing village in Helambu VDC-7 of Sindhupalchowk district. They died when a fire broke out in the barn of the locale, Sanch Tamang.
The deceased have been identified as Manoj Tamang, 6, son of Sanch Tamang, Manish Tamang, 5, son of Sukman Tamang and Dil Bahadur Tamang, 5, son of Sayla Tamang of the same village, according to the Deputy Superintendent of Police Daksha Kumar Basnet.
A fire broke out in a barn covered with stones, mud and tin on Monday evening when corn stalks and dried taps caught fire, police said.
