An earthquake of magnitude 4.7 on the Richter scale hit Sindhupalchowk district on Monday at 01:46 pm.
The epicentre of the earthquake lies at Pangphung in Sindhupalchowk district, according to National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Centre (NEMRC).
The aftershock was continued after 10 minutes too at 01:56 pm.
No casualties and damage to properties have been reported yet. Yesterday too, a 4.3 magnitude earthquake struck Gorkha district.
