The preparations for the class 12th exam, which will begin on Tuesday, have been completed.

Chairman of the National Examination Board, Dr. Mahashram Sharma, called all the candidates to participate in the examination as the preparations are complete. He urged everyone to conduct the exams peacefully across the country.

In this year's annual examination of Class 12, a total of 467 thousand 389 students from all over the country are going to take the examination, said Krishna Sharma, Controller of Examinations of the Board. One thousand four hundred and fifty seven examination centers have been determined for the examination. He informed that the center president, co-center president, inspector and assistant have been appointed for the examination and mobilized for the examination.

"The material required for the examination has been delivered to the districts," Sharma said. This year, more than 56,000 students are going to participate in the grade enhancement exam. They will have to give the grade increase exam only in the subject in which they got the lowest number.

Students who have received 'non-graded' in three or more subjects will have to take the exam for the entire subject this year, even though the examination form for six subjects has been filled, the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology has revised the Letter Grading Guideline, 2078.

According to the letter grading system implemented by the board, the students who got ungraded in more than two subjects had to take the exam of the whole subject. By doing this, the ministry revised the guidelines after there was a possibility of students dropping out in the grade increase examination held last year.
