The Ministry of Health and Population stated on Sunday that a total of 53 new cases of coronavirus were confirmed from the 2,615 PCR tests in the past 24 hours in the country.
In its daily update, the Ministry said that the total caseload of coronavirus in the country reached 275,231. So far, altogether 271,326 infected ones got recovery from the virus including 77 infected persons in the past 24 hours.
Likewise, the country reported not a single death caused due to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours. So far, the deaths caused due to COVID-19 reached 3,014 till Sunday.
According to the Ministry, a total of 1,477,731people received vaccine against the COVID-19 till today.
