Arghakhanchi police arrested an elderly man on charge of molesting a 14-year-old minor girl from Sandhikharka Municipality-2.
The accused has been identified as Indra Bahadur Kumal (55) of Thulakharka in the same municipality.
Kumal allegedly molested the minor while she was grazing cattle in the local forest. The accused also tried to rape the minor. Based on the information about the incident, District Police Office (DPO) personnel nabbed Kumal immediately on Wednesday afternoon.
Further investigation into the case is being carried out, informed the DPO.
