The buildings of 88 schools damaged by the earthquake in Myagdi have been rebuilt. The National Reconstruction Authority (NRA) has reconstructed the school buildings that were destroyed and dilapidated by the 2015 earthquake.

Tularaj Chaulagai, head of NRA's District Project Implementation Unit (Education) Myagdi, shared that 282 classroom buildings have been reconstructed in 88 schools by mid-July 2021. "The target was to reconstruct 344 classrooms, 50 toilets, and 27 drinking water projects in 105 schools," he said. Of them, 282 classrooms, 45 toilets, and 25 drinking water projects have been reconstructed in 88 schools.

Thirty-five buildings were completed in the last fiscal year 2077/78 BS. Last year, an agreement was reached with the school management committee for the reconstruction of 37 four-room, three three-room, and 10 two-room buildings, said Bishnu Rijal, an engineer at the unit. In FY 2077/78, an agreement was reached for the construction of 30 toilets and 27 drinking water schemes.

Reconstruction of the school building started from the Fiscal Year 2073 BS through the District Project Implementation Unit (Grant Management and Local Infrastructure). Reconstruction of school buildings, toilets, and drinking water in Myagdi has gained momentum after the establishment of the District Project Implementation Unit (Education) on 17 July 2019.
