The first batch of 99 Nepali workers who were selected to work as auxiliary workers in the caregiving sector in Israel left today. More than 1000 workers selected for this category are scheduled to leave for Israel in the coming weeks.
The Government of Nepal and the Government of the State of Israel have decided to establish a Joint Working Team to prepare a bilateral agreement for sending Nepali nationals to work in the construction sector in Israel, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The decision came after a constructive dialogue between Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr Narayan Khadka and Ambassador of Israel to Nepal Hanan Goder-Goldberger this afternoon.
