An additional vaccine has arrived in Nepal today for an additional dose against the coronavirus infection.
"Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunizations" (Gavi) said that the vaccine provided by the German government through Kovacs arrived this morning from Qatar Airways, the head of the Supply Management Branch of the Department of Health Services, Surendra Chaurasia informed.
According to him, 345,600 doses of vaccine have arrived today. The vaccine came at the rate of 345,600 doses.
'Bivalent' vaccine will be used only for booster doses. The German government will provide 1.5 million vaccines to Nepal.
Today, with the arrival of the vaccine, 1 million 36 thousand 800 doses of booster doses have arrived in Nepal. After the spread of coronavirus in the neighbouring countries India and China, the government demanded a vaccine.
