In recent years, farmers have been drawn to the use of modern agricultural equipment in Palpa. It is said that with the use of modern tools, animal husbandry, as well as agricultural production, has increased and income has also started to improve.
Anupam Bhusal of Tansen Municipality-9, Madanpokhara is engaged in commercial goat breeding of advanced breeds. According to him, the use of modern equipment has reduced the effort to cut the grass and feed the goats.
Farmer Bhusal said that the use of such technology has inspired more people to choose agriculture and animal husbandry.
Tansen Municipality, Ribdikot Village-based Rural Economic Development Association (REDA) and Heffer Project Nepal have been providing assistance for modern equipment to the farmers. Lila Bahadur Karki, executive director of REDA, said that it is easy to cut grass and make grains by using the equipment.
Dan Bahadur Kuwar, a technician of the municipality, said that with the help of equipment, farmers' life has become a bit easier.
