Agriculture will be counted in 77 areas of Jumla under the Seventh National Agricultural Census. The agriculture census will be conducted at all the eight local levels of the district.
According to Laxman Kandel, Chief of the District Agriculture Census Office, agriculture will be counted in 11 places of Chandannath Municipality and Hima Village Municipality. Agriculture will be counted in 10 places of Tila village municipality, Kankasundari, and Tatopanika. Counting will be done in nine places of Sinja Municipality and Patarasi Municipality. The agriculture census will be conducted in Guthichaur village municipality in seven places. For this, 26 enumerators will be deployed.
Agriculture will be counted from the 6th of April to the 19th of June. The enumerator will collect data on the size of the land used by the farmers, the consumption and use of the land, the area under cultivation, the details of production and irrigation of the main crop, and the use of seeds.
