Kailash Raj Pokharel, Ambassador of Nepal to Australia, held a meeting with Professor Andrew Campbell, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Australian Center for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR) today.
While appreciating the long standing engagement of ACIAR in Nepal through various kinds of capacity development and community support programs, Ambassador Pokharel underlined the need of enhanced, focused and integrated program in certain region. He also highlighted the immense potentiality of ACIAR engagement in the high value forestry products like medicinal herbs.
CEO Professor Campbell briefed about partnership of ACIAR in Nepal specially focused on increased farm and forest productivity.
Currently three projects of ACIAR are ongoing in Nepal.
