Anyone involved in fake Bhutanese refugees scam shall not be spared

Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Narayan Kaji Shrestha has said no one involved in the fake Bhutanese refugees scam could be spared under any pressure and influence.

Receiving a memo submitted by a delegation comprising fronts and organisation Chief of CPN (Unified Socialist), Bijay Poudel, and Spokesperson, Jagannath Khatiwada, among others on Wednesday, DPM Shrestha mentioned that police have been carrying out investigation into the case and nobody involved will be spared.

The CPN (Unified Socialist) thanked the government for disseminating a positive message among the people by showing a clear stance, efficiency and activeness to bring those involved in the scam under the ambit of law.

The party also drew the government's attention not to weaken such a serious issue under any influence and pressure.

Similarly, the Human Rights and Peace Society submitted a five-point memo to DPM Shrestha today itself, demanding to take action against all involved in the fake Bhutanese refugees scam and to take transitional justice to logical conclusion by making human rights friendly acts.
