According to Vigyan Budha, a local, a hailstorm has damaged apple cultivation in Jodu, Rugha, Kandagaun, Bhadgaun, Phungra and Shanigaun of Sinja village. In his garden, 90 apple trees were bearing fruit.
This time the farmers had hoped for a good harvest of apples. The apple trees are bare. According to the locals, the hailstorm has damaged apples in most parts of the district.
