Minister for Labour, Employment, and Social Security, Dol Prasad Aryal, has been conferred on the responsibility of Acting Chairperson of Rastriya Swatantra Party.
An emergency meeting of the party held after Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister, also the Chairperson of Rastriya Swatantra Party, Rabi Lamichhane lost his posts with Supreme Court's verdict on Friday, decided to name Vice-Chair Aryal as the Acting Chairperson of the party, said Spokesperson Dr. Mukul Dhakal.
Aryal is a lawmaker elected under a proportional representation system.
