The Nisikhola village municipality of Baglung is going to conduct health check-up of senior citizens, disabled and pregnant women in the municipality every month.

The first executive meeting of the village municipality has decided to conduct health check-up from the new fiscal year, said village chairman Surya Bahadur Ghartimagar. According to Ghartimagar, the village municipality has planned to conduct health check-up at the toll plaza as senior citizens, the disabled and pregnant women cannot get health check-up and treatment at the health facility. Chairman Ghartimagar said, "Since they have problems going to the health facility for health check-up, the village municipality is going to check their health. We have planned to reach the toll-toll every month to check the health of such citizens and also manage the necessary medicines."

Chairman Ghartimagar has said that the village municipality will deploy health workers in toll roads for health check-ups. He said that the health check-up would be made effective by collecting the data of the disabled and senior citizens in the village municipality. Chairman Ghartimagar said that the municipality has also decided to provide free health insurance to all citizens. The village executive meeting has also decided to operate the municipality's own ambulance. There is not a single ambulance in Nisikhola to take any sick person to the hospital immediately. Now, the village municipality will buy an ambulance in the new fiscal year, said Chairman Ghartimagar.
