The meeting of the Council of Ministers held today has appointed Basant Kunwar as the new Inspector General of Police of Nepal Police. When he was recently promoted to the post of AIG, he was ranked number 1 above others. Inspector General of Police Dhiraj Pratap Singh is retiring from police service from tonight.
Other 8 senior police officers are also retiring from today.
