Booster dose campaign in 17 hospitals

The Health Office of Mistry of Health and Population, Kathmandu, has decided to give booster dose to the frontline personnel from 17 places in the district.

Chief of the Health Office Shambhu Kafle informed that booster doses can be given from 17 vaccination centers in Kathmandu where vaccination is being conducted now.

 Kafle informed that vaccination has been started from 8 government hospitals and 9 private hospitals. According to him, Nepal Army Hospital, Nepal Police Hospital, Armed Police Hospital, Teaching Hospital, Bir Hospital, Philanthropic Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital, Shahid Gangalal National Heart Centre, Civil Service Hospital are giving booster dose at the time being.

Similarly, booster vaccine can be obtained from Shuvecchha Hospital, Janamaitri Hospital, People's Dental College & Hospital, Norvic International Hospital, Nobel Hospital, Vayodha Hospital, Sahid Memorial Hospital, Apex polyclinic and diagnostic center.

Health workers, security personnel, media personnel, women's health volunteers, sanitation workers, corpse management personnel, ambulance drivers will be the one getting booster dose. 

For booster dose one must be complete at least 6 months after vaccination.
