Campus receives 14 kattha land in donation

Various local individuals have donated 14 kattha land worth Rs 5.6 million to the Bara-based Shree Gadhimai Multiple Campus.

At the Shreemad Bhagwat and Gadhimai festival organized by the campus for fundraising, various individuals had pledged to donate land to the academic institution. On Wednesday, they donated land as per their commitment.

Nagendra Prasad Chaudhary of Mahagadhimai municipality-1 donated 10 kaththa while Pannalal Prasad, Prem Prasad, Sumitra Devi and Naresh Prasad Jayaswal donated one kattha each, informed member of the campus steering committee, Amit Chaudhary.

All five local donors reached the Land Revenue Office on Wednesday and transferred land ownership to the campus, Chaudhary said, adding they also handed over the land registration certificate to the campus steering committee chairperson Dharmendra Prasad Yadav on the same day.
