The Abuse of Authority Investigation Commission has determined that there were more than 100.33 million irregularities in the purchase of bicycles under the 'Beti Padhau, Beti Bachau' program of the Madhes state government. In this matter, the authority has filed a case in a special court against 8 people including the then state secretary of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers Office, Yam Prasad Bhusal.
