Chairman of the CPN (Unified Socialist), Madhav Kumar Nepal, has paid tribute to Shova Pradhan, saying that she was active in the communist movement for a long.
Issuing a condolence note on Thursday, Chairman Nepal said the demise of Pradhan, the spouse of Chairman of Nepal Workers and Peasant Party, Narayan Man Bijukchhe, was a huge loss to the country. She had played a significant role in social transformation in addition to Nepal's communist movement, Nepal reminded.
On behalf of his party, Chairman Nepal extended condolences to the bereaved family members.
Pradhan had died of cancer at the age of 62. She breathed her last while undergoing treatment at Harisiddhi Hospital on Thursday.
