Chairperson of CPN (Unified Socialist) and former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal has laid emphasis on creating a socialism-based economic system by safeguarding political achievements.
In a message of best wishes on the occasion of the Constitution Day, 2080, today, Chairman Nepal highlighted the need to consolidate the federal democratic republic and push economic transformation pursuing good governance, prosperity and social justice.
The Constituent Assembly having wider people's participation had promulgated the constitution as per the people's wishes, he said, the country has held two elections of three tiers in institutionalizing the constitutional provisions.
He stressed on the need to advance social transformation by expanding production and creating employment opportunities.
