A child has died when a pickup van (Ga 2 Cha 5980) crashed at Burtibang in Baglung district. The deceased has been identified as John Sirpali, 8, of Tamankhola Municipality-2.
Several others were injured, who have been identified as Narakitav Sunar, 58, of Dhorpatan-1, Vishnu Prasad Sapkota, 30, of Dhorpatan-6, Sakreni Gharti, 47, of Dhorpatan-5, Narmala Gharti, 50, of Dhorpatan-5 Levindra Kunwar, 48, of Dhorpatan-1, and Aakash Gharti of Dhorpatan-7 have been injured. The injured are undergoing treatment at a local health facility, said the police.
