A meeting of the District COVID Management Centre on Wednesday extended the prohibitory order for a week. Issuing a notice, the District Administration Office has extended the prohibitory order till June 24.
Chief District Officer Premlal Lamichhane informed that the department stores are allowed to set for the business keeping intact with the previous prohibitory order. However, the committee has shown some flexibility on the operation of department stores.
Book stores and stationeries supply also have been curated by adopting safety protocols.
The district has 15,131 coronavirus infections, among them 1,429 are active infections, 129 are undergoing treatment in hospitals and overall 252 people have succumb to coronavirus.
