The top leaders of the ruling alliance have started consultations at the Prime Minister's residence in Baluwatar. The leaders are meeting to hold discussions on the expansion of the Council of Ministers and the upcoming strategy of the ruling side, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba's secretariat has said.
The Council of Ministers has still not got full shape even after the incumbent government led by PM Deuba is about to complete two months.
It is stated that the alliance leaders will also be discussing on how to take ahead the parliament at a time when the CPN (UML) is obstructing its smooth operation.
Leaders attending the meeting include PM and Nepali Congress president Deuba, CPN (Maoist Center) chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda', CPN(Unified Socialist) Chairperson Madhav Kumar Nepal, Vice-chairperson of Rashtriya Janamorcha, Durga Poudel among others.
The Deuba-led cabinet has four ministers and a minister of state.
