Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that the country's economy is gradually improving.
During a meeting with the editors of major media outlets from Kathmandu on Tuesday, the PM said economic status is gradually getting better though it was very critical when he assumed the government leadership.
The PM said that he has held frequent discussions with the private sector, government agencies and economists regarding the economic situation of the country and that the economy is now improving.
Saying that the country's prosperity was unlikely without support of and partnership with the private sector, the PM added that remittance inflow has increased and tourist arrival has gone up. As indicators of the economy have improved, the country's economy is not worrying, the PM added.
On the occasion, the PM shared that his first priority after assuming office was bringing about reforms on the economy despite the rumours that the country was facing a severe economic crisis like Sri Lanka.
