Nepal records highest no. of deaths in 24 hrs

MoHP data includes report of 16 deaths that occurred in 24 hours and 12 others

The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has reported a total of 28 deaths from COVID-19 including 16 who succumbed to the disease in 24 hours.

The number is one of the highest death tolls recorded in a single day after the outbreak of coronavirus in the country. The country witnessed 3,032 new cases of coronavirus today.

With this, the total number of deaths caused by respiratory contagion has reached 3,164 in Nepal, as per the data of MoHP 

In addition to this, at least 23 Nepalis including 20 in India have been reported to have succumbed to COVID-19 this week.
