CPN (Maoist Centre) Deputy General-Secretary Barshaman Pun has been admitted to the Sumeru Hospital in Lalitpur district after he complained of health issues.
Pun, also former minister, had been to his home district-Rolpa- to observe Maghi Parva, the first day of the Nepali month Magh.
He was flown to Lalitpur-based healthcare facility due to health issues, according to Pun's secretariat.
Pun had been to Rolpa a few days ago to partake in various programmes in the wake of the parliamentary elections held last November 20.
Suffering from jaundice for some time now, he was treated in a Hospital in China last summer. Pun has been hospitalized yet again today.
