CPN UML urges government to provide relief to people affected by floods, landslides

The CPN UML has issued a statement urging the government to provide immediate relief to people who have been affected by the floods and landslides.



The party has urged the government to hasten the relief and rescue efforts for people who have been affected by floods and landslides caused by the incessant rainfall across the country in the last few days. It has also asked the government to speed up work related to locating the people who have gone missing during the floods.

Spokesperson of CPN UML Pradeep Gyawali has also urged the government to provide temporary shelters to families who have been displaced. He has also requested the organisations affiliated to the party and party members to collaborate with concerned authorities in the relief and rescue efforts.
