The Department of Commerce, Supply and Consumer Protection has instructed all hotels, restaurant and bar businesses to mention the final consumer price in the menu.
It has also given a warning not to take any additional amount over the mentioned price and if found doing so, action will be taken according to the Consumer Protection Act, 2075 and Regulations, 2076.
In the menu, according to the rules, it is instructed to keep the price including all kinds of service charges and taxes to be paid by the consumer.
