Eight people died when a passenger bus fell into Trishuli river from Chhahara in Gajuri rural municipality-2 Chalice of Dhading. Bus going from Kathmandu to Pokhara went out of control and fell off the road into the Trishuli River.
According to the police, 8 people including 2 women and 6 men died in the accident.
According to District Police Office Dhading Deputy Superintendent of Police Santulal Prasad Jaiswar, more than 17 injured people have been rescued.
Those injured in the bus accident have been taken to Gajuri Hospital for treatment. As it is not certain how many passengers were on the bus, detailed details are yet to come. Teams of Nepali Army, Armed Police and Nepal Police have been deployed at the scene of the incident.
