Around two dozen people have died due to diarrhea in Krishnanagar of Kapilvastu district. 45-year-old Bablu Kewat of Krishnanagar Municipality-8 and a 4-year-old child from ward no. 1 are among the deceased.
52 suffering from
diarrhea are still undergoing treatment in Shivraj Hospital, Bahadurgunj while 7 patients who were in critical condition have been referred elsewhere informed Health Post office,
Kapilvastu.
Medical personnel has said the reason for diarrhea is contaminated water.
