Durga Prasad Bhandari, Ambassador of Nepal to Kuwait and Acting Director General of Kuwait Government, Public Authority of Manpower Dr. Mubarak Al-Azmi held a discussion on Nepali-Kuwait bilateral relations and Nepali migrant workers at the Public Authority of Manpower.
In the meeting, the impact of the covid-19 epidemic on the job market of Kuwait, the current situation of Nepalese workers after the covid-19 epidemic, the issuance and renewal of workers' entry permits, housing and salary facilities, and job security were discussed. Further development and expansion of air services between Nepal and Kuwait, positive impact on the movement of workers, expansion of opportunities for Nepalis in new areas of employment and other issues were discussed in the meeting.
