The National Planning Commission recently unveiled the concept paper of the 16th periodic plan (2024/25-2028/29). The Plan is set to be implemented from the next fiscal year, starting on July 16.

Based on the concept paper, all ministries are required to hold preliminary discussion on the draft and furnish recommendations if need be.

Rastriya Samachar Samiti, Nepal Press Council and Nepal Telecommunications Authority, among others under the MoCIT, have submitted the details in relation to the plan.

It may be noted that the 16th period plan has accorded high priority to digital database and e-governance.
