The Araniko highway, which was blocked since Monday morning due to incessant rain, has resumed operation. Traffic was blocked in Bhotekosi rural municipality-4 Daklang of Sindhupalchok after the road was washed away.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Daksh Kumar Basnet informed that the blocked road has been operational since 10:30 this morning. The movement of cargo vehicles going to and from China via Tatopani was stopped when the road was washed away. The police said that traffic has now resumed. Information officer Basnet informed that the transport was conducted in coordination with the road department.
