Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister, Narayan Kaji Shrestha, inaugurated the living quarters for teachers and staff of Diwakar Memorial Technical School, Madi, in Chitwan.
At a programme organised on Wednesday, DPM Shrestha inaugurated seven quarters constructed by the Technical School.
On the occasion, he mentioned that the Diwakar Technical School has a significant role in the educational development of Madi, adding, "This educational institution is the gem of Madi. All should support its development."
Saying the incumbent government has given priority to technical education, the Deputy Prime Minister shared that employment should be created across the country through technical education.
The quarters were constructed at a cost of around Rs 70 million, said Chief of the Technical School, Uprendra Pokharel.
