The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has requested all to get the same vaccine for the second or booster dose.
According to Dr Samir Kumar Adhikari, Joint Spokesperson of the Ministry, the recommendation has been made as another vaccination may cause chemical reactions in the body. He says, "We have recommended all to get the same vaccine. We do not recommend mixing one vaccine with another. "
"The reaction to the vaccine may be different which can cause other reactions in the body. Therefore, I request everyone to get the same vaccine that they had gotten earlier," he adds.
