Chief specialist Dr Roshan Pokharel has been promoted to the secretary at the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).
The meeting of the Council of Ministers held today decided to promote Dr Pokharel to the post.
A committee had recommended Pokharel and two other specialists Dr Mahendra Prasad Shrestha and Dipendra Raman Singh for the post.
