An earthquake measuring 5.3 in the Richter scale was felt this morning.
According to the National Seismology and Research Center, the earthquake measuring 5.3 Richter scale occurred at 5:26 am earlier today. The epicenter was around Belkotgarhi in Nuwakot district.
Dr. Mukund Bhattarai, a seismologist at the center shared that the earthquake was an aftershock of the 2015 Gorkha earthquake. The tremor was felt in Nuwakot, Rasuwa, Dhading and Kathmandu valley.
