Electoral activity increased in the villages

After receiving the election symbol, the candidates have started reaching the houses of the voters. After receiving the election symbol along with the publication of the final list of candidates, the election atmosphere has increased in all the 13 local levels of the district.

Voters are voting for their favorite party and candidate on May 13 for the local level election. Meanwhile, candidates, candidates' supporters and others are busy soliciting votes from all over the village. Bhoj Raj Timalsina, deputy chief of the CPN (UML) Kavrepalanchok's propaganda department, said that the party ranks and candidates are now participating in the door-to-door campaign focusing on their respective municipalities.

 "After the decision of the candidate, a door-to-door campaign has been launched," he said. UML is conducting the campaign by reaching the doorsteps of the voters by making public the election commitment letter at the Palika level.

The Left Democratic Alliance has also launched a campaign to get votes after fielding candidates. Bhola Aryal, district coordinator of the UCPN (Maoist) said that a door-to-door campaign was being carried out in all the municipalities of the district by forming election-level mobilization committees. Issuing a resolution with a common agenda, reaching out to the people and taking a resolution with commitment, the process of going to the courtyard of the voter's house continues.

Sujan Lama, coordinator of the Left Democratic Alliance Election Mobilization Committee, said that the Left Democratic Alliance Election Mobilization Committee has been formed in Mahabharat village in Dandapari district. The committee, headed by Devraj Yonjan, is conducting the election campaign focusing on necessary preparations and identification.

Similarly, candidates of Left Democratic Alliance, UML and Swatantra have started reaching the houses of voters in Khanikhola Municipality. Rajan Adhikari, a member of the propaganda department of the Khanikhola Left-Democratic Joint Alliance, said that they were conducting separate election campaigns in Palika and Vadastar.

Kunsang Lama, the mayoral candidate of the coalition party of Namobuddha Municipality and Ratna Lama, the deputy mayoral candidate have launched a door-to-door campaign with the slogan of agriculture, tourism, industry and youth self-employment. Candidates in Banepa, Dhulikhel, Panauti, Panchkhal, Mandandeupur, Temal Bhumlu, Chaurideurali, Roshil and other municipalities are engaged in door-to-door campaign with their election symbols.
