The electric vehicles, which have been lying in Lumbini for about one and a half years, will be put into operation before the next Dashain.
According to the Lumbini Development Fund, discussions are being held with experts in the relevant fields regarding the aspects of creating a procedure for the operation of electric vehicles in Lumbini, and technical inspection of the received buses and vans.
The Asian Development Bank provided 5 electric buses and 14 electric vans to the fund to make Lumbini pollution-free a year and a half ago.
