Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani of Qatar arrived in Kathmandu today at the friendly invitation of President Ramchandra Paudel.
He was warmly welcomed by President Paudel in the special room of Tribhuvan International Airport. Al Thani landed in Kathmandu by special plane.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, he will meet with President Paudel today at Sheetal Niwas.
After that, a program has been scheduled to sign bilateral agreements and memorandums of understanding on various issues in their presence. It is expected that this visit of the Qatari Emir will help the friendly relations between Nepal and Qatar to become more harmonious and also help in expanding the area of mutual cooperation and cooperation. The Qatari Emir is about to come here after completing his official visit to the Philippines and Bangladesh.
