Province Chief of Gandaki Province, Sita Kumari Poudel has laid emphasis on environment-friendly balanced development for healthy human life.
In her message on the occasion of World Environment Day today, she urged one and all to take initiatives towards creating clean and healthy environment noting that various problems and challenges have surfaced in the globe due to sheer negligence on part of the humans on environmental protection issues.
“Clean, healthy and green nature are directly associated with healthy life of humans and other living beings,” the message reads. The unbalanced activities of human beings have resulted in natural disasters and other forms of pandemic, Poudel reminded.
Highlighting the need of preserving fresh air and quality natural resources and means, she called on all to realize the shared responsibility for the protection and management of environment, thereby contributing to the sustainable development.
