Chainpur Municipality of Sankhuwasabha will give one lakh rupees to the family of mourners who died in a tractor accident. Mayor Krishna Kumar Tamang informed that the executive meeting of the municipality decided that the families of three people who died in a tractor accident while returning from a funeral will be given Rs 1 lakh.
24-year-old Ganga Bahadur Tamang of Chainpur Municipality-10 and 46-year-old Keshav Karki and 66-year-old Khadga Bahadur Bhandari of Chainpur Municipality-9 died when a tractor carrying mourners crashed on June 24, while 42 mourners were injured in the tractor accident.
In the same meeting, it was decided to provide treatment expenses to three of the injured people, Mayor Tamang said. Mayor Tamang said that it has been decided to bear the entire medical expenses of the seriously injured Dipesh Katuwal, Chitra Bahadur Tamang and Nar Bahadur Karki of Chainpur-10. The tractor carrying 44 goods had an accident at Dumkata on the Khandbari-Leguwa road section.
