A fire broke out in Hallan Chowk of Pokhara Metropolitan City-6 Lakeside. A fire broke out in a godown on the ground floor of Selways Departmental Stores in Hallanchowk. Ward Police Office Baidam informed that efforts to control the fire which started at 4:35 am are continuing and have not yet been brought under control.
Pokhara Airport and Varunyantra of Pokhara Metropolis are trying to extinguish the fire by reaching the spot. Even though the security personnel and locals tried to control the fire, it could not be brought under control.
There are also ATMs of various banks and financial institutions including Himalayan Java Cafe, and branches of Nabil Bank in the building where the fire broke out. After the fire in Selways, the traders are taking out the goods from the nearby shops. Full details of the
