A fire at Ashok Singh Saund's animal shed in Melauli Municipality-1, Baitadi of the district has caused a loss worth Rs 450,000. Three cows and a buffalo have died in the fire that broke out at around 2 this morning.
It is reported that the fire was brought under control by the locals in about three hours after it broke out. Acting Chief of the District Police Office, Baitadi, Bodhraj Ojha informed that the fire broke out due to an electrical shortage.
