Former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, who is also chairperson of CPN UML, has claimed that the tenure of the government led by his party was a successful one. During his address to the nation prior to vacating his office, the former prime minister mentioned that his government had been a historically successful one.
During the address, Oli expressed his gratitude to all citizens for making his tenure successful. He also thanked the civil servants, security personnel, volunteers and those in the frontline in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic for their contributions during his term as the prime minister.
Former PM Oli also thanked the heads of government of various countries that have been providing developmental assistance to Nepal.
He also appealed to all the party members to be patient and not be involved in any untoward activity.
