According to Dinesh Kumar Chaudhary of the Biratnagar Metropolitan Fire Office, a hotel and grocery store run by Kumar Prasad Ghimire's house have been destroyed in a fire. The fire was brought under control with the help of three fire engines of Biratnagar and one fire engine of Duhabi Municipality, the police and the general public, said fireman Chaudhary.
Necessary investigation is underway into the cause of the fire and full details of the damage are yet to come, said Chaudhary. Three office workers were injured in the fire and are being treated at the local Max Hospital.
